ODR MALAYSIA PRIVACY AND SECURITY POLICY
ODR MALAYSIA is powered by ODR WORLD. All cases filed will be managed by ODR WORLD.
1. Minors/Children are prohibited from using our services.
2. These details about YOU will be asked to be furnished:
Name, address,
telephone number and email address.
You will also
be asked to give a brief account of the dispute or issue and
what YOU seek to achieve including any monetary claim if any.
3. Your chosen username and password shall belong only to
you at all times and shall be used by you whenever you use
the services. You may not disclose your password to any other
party.
4. Each case is given a Case ID.
5. All of the information we gather is stored in a secure
database.
6. Contents, of what you have stated on the forms, shall
be viewed by all parties.
7. In the event of mediation or conflict resolution, the
neutral shall gather all information submitted by you on the
web site and in the emails. The neutral will use the information
submitted by you to assist him in mediating or resolving the
issue/dispute.
8. The mediator shall assume that all communications are
open to all parties unless expressly specified otherwise.
9. All communications, in the ODR MALAYSIA/ODR WORLD web communications,
in assisted negotiation, mediation and conflict resolution
will be archived for convenience and retrieval.
10. ODR MALAYSIA does not have access to any offers and demands
that are submitted by you online. ODR MALAYSIA will have access
to the final bids match status and will keep it in strict
confidentiality. No outside party will have access to your
figures.
11. Our policy only addresses the use and disclosure of information
we collect from you. If you disclose your information to other
parties, whom ever it may be, different rules may apply. Since
ODR MALAYSIA does not control the confidentiality policies of
third parties, you are subject to the confidentiality and
security policies of that third party.
12. We are committed to maintaining confidentiality within
the Online Dispute Resolution process. The information we
collect will be kept confidential at all times.
13. When you click a link web site from our web site, you
are entering into a new domain. You will be governed by the
privacy policy of the new web site and will no longer be under
the ODR MALAYSIA domain.
14. We do not sell, or share your personal information with
any third party.
15. ODR MALAYSIA may display settlement success rate statistics.
In the event the parties wish to publicize their dispute and
outcome, they may request ODR MALAYSIA to do so on the odrworld.com
web site.
16. Under no circumstances will the Neutral or any member
of ODR MALAYSIA be asked to testify in any contested hearing
neither provide materials from the dispute resolution process.
17. Participation in any of the services on the odrworld.com
site is voluntary.
18. There is no guarantee of settlement.
19. Please always bear in mind that the Internet is not a
secure environment. We are committed to keeping the ODR MALAYSIA/ODR WORLD
web site secure and to keep information visible only to those
authorized to view it, but we cannot give any guarantee that
our system will remain secure at all times. We cannot guarantee
that your information or private communications will remain
private, third parties may unlawfully intercept or access
transmissions or private communications.
20. To ensure data confidentiality and integrity, all information
transmitted over the ODR WORLD web site is encrypted using
Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). SSL is a secure way of transferring
information between two computers on the Internet using encryption.
